<br />
I’ve dated quite a few, went out with some and have a lot of male friends, not to mention the members of the family. What fascinates me most is their grooming products, their hair care and shaving products, skin essentials, fragrances and more.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Grooming Tips for the Modern Man 2017" border="0" data-original-height="846" data-original-width="564" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlCCsyT-iToBUFQqYxLllSRBjmrJHuzjQPBI3KIy9ypn24L6xToJJQev5lWXswY1qBKXeIGeeDPAWRZzyATYMphmbmWBECvT3eBRHuTscBKM2D9fWRgvBy49g99szAN4alON_TvybH7CQ/s400/Grooming+Tips+for+Men.jpg" width="266" /></a></div>There is a limited option as compared to women - of course a hundred plus men’s grooming brands versus a thousand plus women’s brand is considered limited - but these <i><a href="https://www.theemporiumbarber.com.au/collections/best-sellers" target="_blank">men’s grooming products</a></i> are all amazing.<br />
<br />
Most of their products either targets a very specific problem or it works in a lot of ways/multi-purpose products, not to mention most of their essentials smells divine, woody, some with a hint of citrus or mint.<br />
<br />
So on a girls point of view, think of this one guy, a friend, a prospective partner, a family member, going out on a date and you are asked to choose the products they would or should use for that particular date, what among the options below would you choose?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=5548646075895897123" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="691" data-original-width="832" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLs3sa0-89jtN6_XYZisv4POcNZ04mzo3d-jefeH3za3MIQhyphenhyphenohEcVnpR4jzaodd4ULtSMxTF5xxL-7LeddHYKlq8zPVRFg-YuZTYoWrTLJhb3Aw-1j0ivN__PTMoC3u5b0HqpGDHk0TI/s1600/Hair+Styling+Products+for+Men.jpg" /></a></div><br />

<br />
Are there men's brands or a particular product you'd like to add? If so, please be mindful that our product range is around $25-$35. If there is a product beyond that price range that you can truly testify, give me the reason why I should recommend it or purchase it myself to give as a gift.<br />

This post is inspired by a post from Quora: <a href="https://summeracidre.quora.com/Would-You-Choose-This-Grooming-Products-for-Your-Men-on-a-Date-Night">Would You Choose This Grooming Products for Your Men on a Date Night?</a>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12974024168981000537noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5548646075895897123.post-73819257056701459232017-05-30T11:25:00.001+08:002017-05-30T11:25:38.606+08:002017 Father's Day Gift Ideas and ActivitiesMy dad has been working overseas for the last couple of years. He returns home every Christmas holidays or during summer breaks and usually spends around 2-3 weeks before returning to his workplace. We also visit him regularly, but most of the time, for the last couple of years, I can't remember a day we spend Father’s Day where he is around. I remember calling him, sending him messages and stuff, but no dine out or travels, no Father’s day gifts either.<br />
<br />
But early this year, he got feed up with working overseas and call it quits, return home, grab my mom for a vacation. After their vacation he spends his days doing some farming for a couple of weeks, fixing whatever he see’s that needs fixing inside the house then got bored with it so decided to put up a small business. Now both my parents are busy with their new acquisition.<br />
<br />
Anyway, going back to father’s day. Since this is a first after quite some time, I find it hard to plan something for him. There are so much ideas in my head that I decided to list it down and put it into a post, maybe there are also others who needs gift ideas, activities for Father’s Day.<br />
<br />
<b>Number 1 on my list is travel + spa package</b>, in short a vacation away from their kids - that are no longer kids but still acts like one -, their work, something just for the two of them.<br />
<br />
He’s been working diligently for a long time. As a father, as a husband, a friend, brother, uncle basically my dad is the best!<br />
<br />
During this past weeks both my parents have been busy with their business that they can’t find time to relax, so I'm thinking of a spa package. Massage, foot spa, hair spa, all the works.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=5548646075895897123" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Bali Indonesia Spa and Wellness" border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="700" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirL81tVhNqvjoRRj34wDmDBXZ00uTC8COAy7v7WT0pUblSmlcCJNZPeM6ScCSk-cL2NVThr4_tOvsNanI_xkGMRWGR4VUdbDmqcI9MNlqYG_MwsMvCHUDgWxswm-hh3r2DpAMAgxr_D4A/s1600/Bali+Indonesia.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
I was in Bali last year and it’s an amazing place. Tropical weather, almost familiar food, beaches, and a lot of spa and wellness center’s to choose from. The thing is, there are so many that I can't find or rather choose the right spa and wellness center for couples, so Im open for suggestions since I'm still reading reviews. <br />
<br />
Another place I’m looking is Philippines, another tropical country but I’m not sure if I should book them a flight to popular tourist spots like Boracay and Palawan since it's already June, the rainy month. <br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=5548646075895897123" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img alt="Luljettas Hanging Garden Hotel Resort Review" border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQmxoLG3t4RsW3jo_iPBurMlv2YDvAX1H97YjQIRL-J9Q4W299xgaDdgTg2SyojHpkkK9M8ynxhyCMUqwIph3jYQgzYnoSoVnoq3fxAZqVxMDxQXGuNL-R9938ZRTDnlQAd7KXcd_QZ3A/s1600/luljetta+-+JanuaryGemorie.jpg" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><i>Image Credit to Rappler</i></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
I’m thinking somewhere not far from the metro. There is this one hotel resort called Luljettas Garden located in Antipolo that’s been receiving really good reviews. I just need to call them, ask if there are still open slots for father’s day.<br />
<br />
<b>Number 2 on my list is a shaving kit.</b><br />
<br />
My dad as well as my brother’s regularly shaves. I always see either one of them in front of the mirror every morning holding a safety razor - if they are being lazy or out of time they're using an electric razor-, shaving cream all over their face.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.theemporiumbarber.com.au/products/baxterwetshavestarterkit" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Baxter of California Wet Shave Starter Kit from The Emporium Barber" border="0" data-original-height="402" data-original-width="614" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhnrbtRPBHEI3_f-TJt_tOjDXVzWn5meW9jDpqM2rNGMS_mMstKy2Q5piZe2BUIsM-ZjL_rwkO_DULF9dI9ffMC312SaVrHAm8GtAvckbbH972r5nc11j-GNA3VKWJlgjO2p9B0Abke88/s1600/Baxter+Wet+Shave+Starter+Kit+-+JanuaryGemorie.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
I found this fancy shaving kit online called <b><a href="https://www.theemporiumbarber.com.au/products/baxterwetshavestarterkit" target="_blank">Baxter of California Wet Shave Starter Kit</a></b>, apparently it's a popular brand for men’s grooming. It’s a wet shaving kit, don’t really know what wet shaving means, it say’s shaving kit for beginners so yeah, it’s probably some stuff that men would would actually use to their face. <br />
<br />
Anyway, the kit includes a shaving brush, shaving cream, aftershave balm and a safety razor that looks like the one my dad have at home, its Muhle something razor, probably a brand name. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.theemporiumbarber.com.au/products/prorasosilvergiftbox" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Proraso Shaving Essential for Men in Silver Gift Box" border="0" data-original-height="421" data-original-width="525" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUHo3XvKGXLDjegq5unLA6iAoGAVa6muVKqySwTFvK6FS-tJ0-nj2f_MHUUv-Y4tbdOEYJZ8xWhRAvhc4Lwe1M33vHvIoHtHWIst8DPLXTpCe0NAQ85jwS9Umnm1M-nQptQvc3glxRI6Y/s1600/Proraso+Silver+Gift+Box+-+JanuaryGemorie.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
I'm actually slightly torn between Baxter and another shaving set the <b><a href="https://www.theemporiumbarber.com.au/products/prorasosilvergiftbox" target="_blank">Proraso Silver Gift Box</a></b> because of the packaging, I would love to have that silver box for my girl stuff, plus they have almost the same price but the Proraso has more products that Baxter.<br />
<br />
I found another not so fancy, but totally great (say’s the ad) shaving bundle <b><a href="https://www.theemporiumbarber.com.au/products/imperialfieldshavekit" target="_blank">Imperial Field Shave Kit</a></b>, a bit more expensive than Baxter but has more products included in the bundle.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.theemporiumbarber.com.au/products/imperialfieldshavekit" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Imperial Field Shave Kit for Men" border="0" data-original-height="331" data-original-width="613" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjWSrhxHMnsdvg9Z31gcMja38AmfBFNMst9CJWTyK0tNfFNEFkqlzeRAk5WshfIvmUten7eCZFvhIRL_bEFoorGU1TRpqqyt940nsAL8wjqGCp0PvOTQKUTodVec-74u3x8db0OJl_Mlk/s1600/Imperial+Field+Shave+Kit+-+JanuaryGemorie.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
With all the things in my head, I can actually only share two. Two that is customized for my dad. The other father’s day ideas are still floating in my head without any fix plan. I'm not sure if it’s something my Dad need or want and I’m afraid to share it and get your mind as blown as mine.<br />
<br />
Can you share your ideas on how you will spend Father’s Day?<br />

<a href="http://www.healthable.org/3-simple-workouts-for-absolute-beginners/" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Home Exercise for Beginners - JanuaryGemorie" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEic9K2fSr5ZM-8X61bmoTEhtu5J3uT_flSzSqrwB-zO3TayY4hjJ476mkNHXjoTnAb0sDoZO90EXkIHXCtdFM1dGQKOuMm7NclL1o1pVcYESJoZfE5EP0dxN4-9IGWQ4q3RAsnYxemSXCQ/s1600/get+fit+at+home.jpg" title="" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Did you ever felt humiliated or feel so down every time the media bombards us with their "perfect body images" or "tips to get fit this summer" it's as if you are not doing your part to stay fit and healthy. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Most of the time, this kinds of news and images hits our self esteem, sometimes even the latest fashion trends can be annoying. Its like the time you spend sweating on the gym to be fit, to be healthy, to be able to wear the clothes that you are comfortable with is still not enough. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Perhaps being thin is what's ideal, but most women would not agree in that, even I myself believe that being thin doesn't always mean your healthy and being fat doesn't mean your slouching on the couch eating junk all the time. Chubby girls can be fit too, and not because your a few pounds above the scale means your overweight, what about muscles? Muscles weigh more heavier than fat!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
Not because one is too thin or overweight means they are neglecting their health. It just means that each person, each body type responds differently to a certain fitness routine. And not because someone spends more time in the gym means all their goal is to shed all those extra pounds, there are other reasons why one spends time working their ass in workout centers and believe me, you should too.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=5548646075895897123" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiU6kMU4ddHpSCrUYrNrMcQ93glCWGoB0ssELHQVDFbnhN0VV84x1sAaSmd_ebuHEjIqQiYc79BzpFJk9w03KTXdef1rr8uMmX3Q9Ic_doPiuSk0GakTR6aagkdQBbx4aTGCu9lIdHfY3k/s1600/Health+and+Fitness+Trends.jpg" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Everyone of all sizes are now more competitive in the health and fitness department and here's some of the reasons why.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Physical activity such as brisk walking releases endorphin's, a chemical in our system that triggers a positive feeling in the body which means you wont snapped when things doesn't go the way you want it to be or when work is filling up. <br />
<br />
Less stress means you are unlikely to be depress or feel anxious. Also, being stress free acts as an anti-aging solution. For one, physical activities doesn't only releases happy chemicals, it also strengthen our bones and builds muscles that are strong enough to prevent damages for years to come.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It's kind of a cause and effect thing. A less stressful daily life results a happy disposition. When you are happy, you became more focus with things, more relaxed with your choices thus, creative juices overflows in your system, which only means work is done pretty easily equals more time for yourself and your family. Combine it with healthier options and having strong bones and muscles and you'll last a couple more years to play with your great grand kids.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.theupsidesport.com/women/yoga-pants" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Yoga Pants - The Upside Sport" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioAwp_rzuhyphenhyphenZTjK9Xzc_trmqbxWTALISBZ62PLODTL9D__uvFr8j3qjCfYcw6erQKW6WHpXmX17fzipHNWVi7XswJlGVMcuj-eTf9ucl_R2EoMOBu2ozA5UG99Zf6VN2loniRuL7THXKw/s1600/Sportswear+-+TheUpsideSport.jpg" title="" /></a></div>
<br />
Another thing about being in the gym are the <span style="color: magenta;"><a href="http://januarygemorie.blogspot.com/2016/04/gym-essentials-to-look-effortlessly-good.html" target="_blank">sportswear pieces each enthusiast wear</a></span>. Yoga pants, running shoes, those nice crop tops that shows a great view of abs and biceps. Not to mention who would want to see a sexy butt doing squats?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<br />
<b>Extra Info:</b> Did you know that there was a time in the past that women are not allowed to compete in a marathon? <imageanchor style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Nike Sportswear Trend 2016" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfdjDMilrIbV4n6vZq3Ofji0q-1P08QNVrWOr7Ui-Y0ZBT_DBF-nytIksgmI9nPeC1i7fvZ96bCztRD2W7q1I1uXnAdJYfS2TCb5X_1xS4btUgf_2UyC_y_nrtXWfZAFbHEZPmS18mHD8/s1600/Gym+Essentials+to+Look+%25E2%2580%259CEffortlessly%25E2%2580%259D+Good.jpeg" title="" /></imageanchor></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I haven’t been in the gym for a very long time. In any case, I was never the type to wake up before dawn to prepare for my gym class before heading out to whatever activity I need to do that day. In addition, I’d rather go straight home and rest than visit the gym after office hours. I don’t have the energy left to at least run a few miles after a busy day at work.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I do run during weekends but that was a very rare event. I do crunches and squats but after a few repetitions I will find myself doing something else, like watching Netflix.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Anyway, recently, my office mates are all about cutting calories and getting fit, not to mention the cute guys at the gym or their yoga instructor.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Kidding aside, I think I’ve been gaining weight, no wait, let me rephrase that <i>“I am gaining weight!!”</i>. The stress of becoming a part of a new team and a new job, my slightly sedentary lifestyle, my binge eating habits when I am stress all adds up to my love handles and its freaking me out how my jeans won’t fit the way they usually do.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I decided to check out one of the many fitness facilities around the office. I found a few good ones with great fitness classes. But it’s kind of intimidating looking at the gym enthusiasts. They all look fashionably great.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<imageanchor style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFLDvz2Xdz9DTO3LYsvU72kkcrzS8BdIYJCHLwnLpg2CWik1V_pEQznLs8_YNQ4EYtqcueNVrLGTMkBdewTDwkYyqKc-dCFGrJzyWLqxJ_xiaIfn4OrjM35rKUm-IiXg-Jy74e1_zsiHU/s1600/Stretching+Exercises.jpg" /></imageanchor></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The last time I was at the gym, I look like a sweating pig on white T-shirt and jogging pants, but these gym goers look all amazing, like running on a full speed treadmill wouldn’t make them sweat.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
While most of us aim to be on tip top condition, looking good while sweating seems to be something we should also look after, in any case no one would want to be caught red handed, especially in a place like this where there is a possibility to meet a lot of people.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here are some simple tips to look effortlessly good while working out.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>1. Invest in good sportswear: </b>Dress for comfort, pick up sportswear pieces that will make you feel comfortable, not too baggy, not too tight, you should be able to move without feeling discomfort. Pieces that absorbs sweat and dries out easily are a go to.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i><a href="http://www.theupsidesport.com/women/yoga-pants" target="_blank">Yoga pants and leggings seems to be the in thing</a></i>, bold colored sports bra or razor back sando’s, crop tops and a size bigger than your original size white shirt can be seen to most gym enthusiasts.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<imageanchor style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9fh_gooMUSNS_XS3UmNGzwUVRE1z4ufwMYT64FRS_ILgj30-BG3lLDQxZBTltmzrCnfmToKDHggnRvVsN1kZzGy7a3EqxtrfEApbIp-OeHXOMQTxz1w5Ybqp7wgca_NCBem_2ZoiDKbc/s1600/Running+Shoes.jpg" /></imageanchor></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>2. Good trainers:</b> As a girl our rule of thumb is that “good shoes brings you to good places”, same with picking rubber shoes and trainers. You have to choose one depending on the type of workout you are into. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Running shoes are made especially for running. Trainers are the best options when you are into sports but it still depends on what type of sports you are into. Cross-trainer are also a go-to option when you’re going to spend more time on the treadmill or just have some light jogging or brisk walking exercises.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>3. Bring a Functional Bag:</b> Come on girl, we both know this, you won’t follow the rules of the fitness facility no matter what the gym assistant tells you. I’m sure you will bring this and that with you inside the gym. Better bring a slightly bigger bag that can hold your stuff and can be more functional. Like sportswear pieces and accessories that you can bring beyond the gym, it’s called<i> <a href="http://januarygemorie.blogspot.com/2016/04/the-growing-trend-for-athleisure-and.html">athleisure fashion</a></i>, and believe me, you’ll get hooked to this trend.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<imageanchor style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Kendal Jenner Gym Clothes" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjnx4Sw7nHUexkfeIu43ELhi3uRLyO9op2pByiz8Af6nvZOqeaeTB-5oq0PNc5OZ5Sqq3EMS3-vF9wv6yYHStXSPwvR9EdjMZmsC5ifcIic-MFqdgY641xF_wvwn97yRqT-UNwWn_4aFpQ/s1600/NoMakeUp+Makeup+for+the+Gym.jpg" title="" /></imageanchor></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>4. Go for waterproof:</b> No matter what I tell you, you will still push the no makeup-makeup-look in the gym so better invest in a water proof mascara, a good lip gloss that has better hydration qualities, a well-groomed brow and nothing else. Again, nothing else in your face aside from a water proof mascara, lip gloss and polished brow. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
No matter how good you are when it comes to the no-makeup-makeup-look, it will dissolve in a messy, sticky sweat that will be seen on your towel, and it looks gross.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
You should also invest in colorful hair tie’s and head bands, to accessorize your hair.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>5. Water bottle:</b> No matter how good you look, fainting from lack of water is more horrible than getting caught without makeup on.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Anyway, I am already trying to increase my stamina before I enroll in a fitness class. At present, I am regularly taking a jog, well more like brisk walking - during weekends and taking the stairs instead of the elevator.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I’m also cutting on calories little at a time, decrease in junk food intake, eat healthier foods and sleep at least 6 hours, yes that’s the longest I can get during work days.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And that’s my list. How about you? Did I miss something? </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<imageanchor style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="2016 Summer Beach Essentials| JanuaryGemorie" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-hH2vk_jGwKvoIUeJsBQJxrKyWV7cJlaCStjrJmCbU_HzR1qK2c9jzJRt1H88ooBsFwY0OkdkkeZdfsXYNGpBXk6ktEMg8qRvSGui5Q3TakzOztQmg-O2zC9ggqb4Q78g0LBoQxd4g0Q/s1600/Summer+Beach+Essentials+2016.jpg" title="" /></imageanchor></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The summer is just right around the corner and I know you’re just as excited as I am. The long cold winter nights are over, dry skin and chapped lips are almost recovering as spring slowly makes its way for summer.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Aside from longer days which means more time playing under the sun, it also means a long vacation and what else, going to the beach! Here are your summer essentials for 2016, I also included some <i><a href="http://januarygemorie.blogspot.com/2016/03/easy-tricks-to-make-your-outfit-look.html" target="_blank">fashion must haves</a></i> just in case you want to be upbeat with what’s new and what you should put at the back of your closet.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>1. Swimsuits:</b> Let’s not forget that summer means wearing swimsuits. It doesn’t matter if you have that #PerfectSummerBody, whatever your size is, you can wear a swimsuit. The best tip I can give is to choose one that would complement your curves.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The <a href="http://januarygemorie.blogspot.com/2016/04/the-growing-trend-for-athleisure-and.html" target="_blank"><i>current fashion trend</i></a> is consisting of sporty cut-away bikinis. If you also notice, one-piece swimwear’s are also seen being worn by celebrities, just make sure to look for something with little details like cut-outs, off shoulder silhouettes or something with classic cut ruffles or lace details.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you still feel unsure or insecure, bring a cover up, wear a sarong or a sheer dress over your swimwear. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Rash guards are also seen being a trendy option for those who are too sensitive to the sun or who don’t want to show too much skin.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.camilla.com.au/shop/swim.html" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Camilla Swimsuit Collection" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh24b8dc5aqUqpyZfS6ZCli2cthx7YZ_P2hvRqSy-poz8695NPiO-zBkuhykTUreeN4EfCxSOcrfzuwPZRyDqwDOHFBbeEJqyv0Pg5XZsSZi_iLZQR0sse1quNI_QbKp-qKydvT91oJcko/s1600/Camilla+Swimsuit+2016.jpg" title="" /></a></div>
<br />
<b>2. Skin and Hair Care Products:</b> Most of us want some good tan but too much sun can break our skin. Make sure you include a sunscreen with a good enough amount of sun protection, at least something with 30+ SPF. Also, include an exfoliating scrub or body exfoliator and moisturizer to help bring back the glow and moisture of your skin.<br />
<br />
If you are prone to blemishes, my best advice it to bring tinted moisturizer, it’s not too heavy so you’ll still achieve the no-make-make-up-look.<br />
<br />
You should also bring hair conditioner’s, texturizing hair spray or oil that is advice for your type of hair. Salt water and too much sun damages your hair follicles. Putting some oil on your hair before going out helps in protecting it and keeping it soft. On the other hand, texturizing spray enhances your natural waves.<br />
<br />
I would also like to include waterproof cosmetics like mascara. I know this is being too vain but hey, I like my lashes long and thick looking, wearing a water proof one will help me avoid smudges and look pretty at the same time.<br />
<br />
Include some lip gloss or lip moisturizer with lots of SPF in your make-up bag to avoid chapped lips. A few sheets of facial wipes and blotting paper to get rid of sweat, grease and grime and a bottle of baby powder to dust off sand.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<imageanchor style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYuBL5Uv68IV1MYA4Y7aP_u2ubCitPvFHdjiQ6vPgvt90Zf_cm7m5HrkmoFVcnzEnwpk2MgXtH_iHsGKximkMpjZFDdTjgeADdabdWCxiTPcq6jm-Unpage6axhyJBW5wy12uK_xdF7pU/s1600/Summer+Skin+Care.jpg" /></imageanchor></div>
<br />
<b>3. Accessories: </b>Add some glam or a pop of color using <a href="http://januarygemorie.blogspot.com/2012/11/jewelry-for-sophisticated-you.html" target="_blank"><i>different fashion accessories</i></a> like:<br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
<b>Flip flops</b>, as much as you love wearing your stilettos, it’s not a good idea to wear one on the beach, instead bring on comfy sandals or flip flops.<br />
<b>Sunglasses</b>, the current trend for round faces consists of geometric shapes, rectangular frames to help elongate your facial features and cats eye shapes to sharpen your look. For the those with a more defined jaw, you should opt for curvy frames like butterfly or a round edge cats eye. <br />
<b>Bring some straw hats or fedora hats</b> whenever you got out, it’s not just for protection it’s also for fashion proposes. <br />
<b>Camera</b>, well not really an accessory but a must have beach essential</blockquote>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<imageanchor style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbQqu9TtE1gNIDQDzAVy0eL6kXtfJf4V8jc2iMe6Qk-e4a2LryS_xE94BXvzDFkRUfANCLB89rzXmjp3xAqwbgucJmJ8h5UXBRTEdzsRN3PRWu3Yvb47DDFQGC83HDPtAecb2rlMwVO7Y/s1600/Beach+Essential.jpg" /></imageanchor></div>
<br />
<b>4. Sand Toys:</b> If you’re going to travel with kids, this is a must have item to keep them busy during the scorching hours. And as the saying goes “you’re never too old to make sand castles or play in the sand”.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<imageanchor style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMl4vVQ8ak1PK56_wsrimLs8c0mf48SWWKBvO2FYpeiEzq1BsVTZ5AzzzpzP7btrK-BJqfwocr6NRM_w-yYoLyrOid186WaDLzY9ZzROYweRNa4AkRH_H4G3I3iTWrQ-fd5QtqIkOW9kQ/s1600/Sand+Toys.jpg" /></imageanchor></div>
<br />
<b>5. Extra Bag:</b> Bring an extra bag that is waterproof to put on your gadgets, and another extra bag where you can put all your used clothes and other stuff.<br />
<br />
How about you? Do you have a list of <a href="http://januarygemorie.blogspot.com/2012/04/summer-fashion.html" target="_blank"><i>summer fashion</i></a> tips and tricks? Did I miss something? Share me your tips.<br />

<imageanchor style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Gigi Hadid and Taylor Swift wearing Athleisure" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdw4U61wnUBBaZVPjp90kgM20GbkwnMzMRFtne_gLLksS2RC0GPT9-9MkUvopZ7y53pLiDlihvIMikPf6RFbzDZmGXVqR89gr76NMQPreSrm3eMC8C35mW7BMYQNHTwCjQTrPeF74fvco/s1600/Gigi+Hadid+and+Taylor+Swift+Athleisure+Trend.jpg" title="" /></imageanchor></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<i>“When I first came back to London from Australia about three years ago, I would walk around in my leggings and people would give me odd looks, but these days it’s so much more acceptable to feel confident going bare faced in yoga pants in public”. </i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
-Madeleine Shaw, author of healthy lifestyle book Get the Glow</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I feel you Ms. Madeleine, I often travel to different places and most of the time, almost everyone is watching your every move not because you’re a foreigner but because of your fashion style or your choice of fashion.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For example, I was in a different country one time and it was summer, most of them are wearing dresses and me on the other hand is strolling around wearing my yoga pants and T-shirt in that blazing afternoon looking like I just got out of the gym, and their faces were like “what the heck is she wearing?”. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Sometimes, store keepers will keep an eye on you like you’re not going to pay your stuff. It was stressful at first but maybe I got used to it and now whenever I remember it, I just find the experience hilarious.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Then suddenly, I don’t know where it started, I just woke up one day and notice that everyone seems to be wearing yoga pants and other <a href="http://likeitgirl.com/en/fashion-trend-alert-wearing-gym-wear-beyond-the-gym/" target="_blank">sportswear beyond the gym</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So how can you look stylish wearing that sportswear when you’re not working out? Here are some simple tips.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<imageanchor style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Sportswear for Function and Fashion|JanuaryGemorie" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUBo9c9mEoCig7dJsYd9rqksXnYrcuOopoAN_b4O9T4uOgCybxbGB3KLqfKjwrZMOxs1FboBrcSgPKp-d4sV6E8OjysLjJiBjXIuuCfzIO1CeM9RMZZ2SMdeRfpOm5nl7DhkO3e_Q50MQ/s1600/Athleisure+Fashion+for+Officewear.jpg" title="" /></imageanchor></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>1. Choose pieces that is a combination of function and fashion.</b> The best example are track pants, tracksuits, yoga pants and sporty kicks. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Tracksuits, sweatshirts and hoodies are commonly seen being paired with skinny jeans or miniskirts in whatever material - best to choose one that would complement your chosen track suit, or will make your top be the highlight instead – you can either pair it with a sporty sneaker or an ankle boots.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
On the other hand, track pants, sweat pants, <a href="http://www.theupsidesport.com/women/yoga-pants" target="_blank">leggings and yoga pants</a> can be worn on a professional/business environment given you’ve chosen one that have a tailored look. And your workplace offers a more casual dress codes.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Tapered joggers, yoga pants and tracksuits, probably one’s that are ankle length and in block colors such as black, white and gray are the common options, black as the most popular. You can pair in with stilettos or pumps to make the ensemble looking more professional.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<imageanchor style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Kendal Jenner for Athleisure Fashion Trend" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgchqZBZvu5gfWJmWRCl-nb_QcbhfTXFqBuxRDM-LT3GvkBDXMgl_nszYdJblzyuTTPy4M-g_k1qyr0IxDEwF-w3P7f9wI5bFYgwYk_04UMKdt9oGrdVCEEDovW-dEQEEqa2evHvDhqeJg/s1600/Athleisure+Fashion+Trend.jpg" title="" /></imageanchor></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>2. Dress for the occasion.</b> They say <a href="http://www.missyconfidential.com.au/5-styles-to-never-wear-on-valentine-s-day.html" target="_blank">you can’t wear gym clothes on a date</a>, but with the right piece’s mix together, you’ll definitely look way hotter than the girl next table wearing a dress with a plunging neckline.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The best tip is to wear neutrals, in a color palette of nudes, taupe’s, heather grays, dark blues, and charcoals. If you want patterns, choose muted one’s and don’t wear a beat-up sneaker or it will kill the look, instead pick up classic sneakers in white.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Add a feminine touch by wearing dresses and instead of your good old high heels pair it up with sneakers. Choose silk or something with a pop of color when wearing athleisure in neutrals. You can also use a hoodies or tracksuits but make sure you accessorize properly.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<imageanchor style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="sports accessories" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgY2XDOndSW19aMLOS3rnCs8BE46qNKhkkXuwu4UtBYr3Kc4a69bhk3CquEYILlbrIYwAcKvvHmd9PxmxtQiyeGnX1MI_FRCOxsZxIbF2yXtGLtdjSdh7aWjgGeh1ZK1aJLKhm9dueh948/s1600/Sports+Accessories.jpg" title="" /></imageanchor></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>3. Accessorize Properly</b>. Speaking of accessories, jewelries inspired in sports are everywhere, all you need is to <a href="http://januarygemorie.blogspot.com/2012/11/jewelry-for-sophisticated-you.html" target="_blank">choose an accessory that would make you look sophisticated</a> or whatever the occasion calls into. Even bags in sporty styles can now passed as stylish.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<imageanchor style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Classic Adidas|JanuaryGemorie" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixE-FQjmn27i5RZqRWTTKjtMYu5ESpEIMLPj79EXWpZ1HqwVqS_l3jQikXWuswBkeW0URo_z7lJNmoeAEEIa9F_Ggr-t-KeOHJ7-li-Kpho0RW834TFHJC7aN0axRz1_EklqoNUtK7i2A/s1600/Adidas+Classic.jpg" title="" /></imageanchor></div>
<br />
Tennis shoes, classic Adidas shoes or white sneakers are what seems to be the <i>"in thing" </i>for celebrities rocking athleisure fashion, so you might want to stock up on that.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>

<a alt="How to Look Expensive for Less|JanuaryGemorie" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZNnTeuUNwYbfOhL7NGg5N83548jfXghH5XlYSb_ni8piyWnoMNdHbmH92P_RkSfbMlxNu-fM5XrSF2IJjJpScIOfr8s0xGlxTChZK0wC0NqKkeqtlaTzkO7ih1I8mEiF0iVJKyuQRT9M/s1600/Easy+Tricks+to+Make+Your+Outfit+Look+Expensive.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZNnTeuUNwYbfOhL7NGg5N83548jfXghH5XlYSb_ni8piyWnoMNdHbmH92P_RkSfbMlxNu-fM5XrSF2IJjJpScIOfr8s0xGlxTChZK0wC0NqKkeqtlaTzkO7ih1I8mEiF0iVJKyuQRT9M/s1600/Easy+Tricks+to+Make+Your+Outfit+Look+Expensive.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
There are those days when we feel tired with our good old fashion style; wearing skirts or dresses can be impractical to some women so slacks and blazers and pumps are your go to fashion. In most cases this ensemble can be a bit boring if you wore the same type all throughout the week, or worst, your entire career life.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In most cases, almost all of us who work in a business type of environment are required to <span style="color: #e06666;"><a href="http://januarygemorie.blogspot.com/2012/10/coporate-fashion-ace-ladder.html" target="_blank">look professional and dependable</a></span>. But changing your wardrobe every season can be utterly expensive and impractical, not to mention most fashion brands, be it fast fashion or designer brands releases new items every season. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Most items being released by designer brands are perfect only for the runway where model type of bodies wore the said clothes. In addition, this type of fashion trend are only affordable for celebrities, or, you can actually purchase one that will go a long way but it will make you swim with debts your entire life.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Fast fashion brands on the other hand are more affordable but you've gotta be wary since you might come across someone wearing the exact same clothes you are wearing.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Nevertheless, it is still possible to look expensive without spending all your hard earned money on designer brands or wearing clothes from fast fashion brands all the time without anyone noticing.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>1. Get your clothes tailored:</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
With fast fashion on the rise, you can purchase <a href="https://www.babyboofashion.com.au/eshop/Dresses/" target="_blank">dresses that looks expensive at a cheaper price</a>, but then again, you might come across someone who wears the exact dress you are wearing, talk about awkward moment eh.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Another thing about fast fashion is that there is a universal size they follow, S M L, which most tailors cringe because every person has his or her own body type and size that would flatter or break their style.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
You love that women's jumpsuit you see on fashion magazine but it's a designer brand and it's price is way above your budget? Then again, you found one in an online shop although you are not sure about whether the size would really fit you? Why not visit a textile shop? Have a list of whatever suits your taste and bring it to your good old tailor together with that magazine copy for a custom made dress perfect for your size.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a alt="fall fashion trend 2016|JanuaryGemorie" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxwEXw5BEXfoQrZCFd_5THp96OInSqiPuyifAPjQUXcKVLA6pYa8VtEavRpiAwJ8lt6GGJJYNKnraAzrHC0rQruWwUTzXNSnOAYcCEmQTmwbYY_yvuKjLkyx4TEBZF9i_u-PCgqMgrJCQ/s1600/Fall+Fashion+Trend.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxwEXw5BEXfoQrZCFd_5THp96OInSqiPuyifAPjQUXcKVLA6pYa8VtEavRpiAwJ8lt6GGJJYNKnraAzrHC0rQruWwUTzXNSnOAYcCEmQTmwbYY_yvuKjLkyx4TEBZF9i_u-PCgqMgrJCQ/s1600/Fall+Fashion+Trend.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>2. Wear Single or Two Tone Colors:</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
An easy way to look expensive is to wear block colors such as an all white or an all black ensembles, add a good pair of <a href="http://www.camilla.com.au/shop/accessories.html" target="_blank">fashion accessories</a> or your one and only designer bag to create stunning statements.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Another option is to combine colors, black on white, red and black, blue and white. Just keep this items in check, fading one's are a no go unless you bought it that way or it was jeans.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>3. Iron your Clothes:</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Looking sleek and put together make you seem to radiate with luxury. Remember, crinkled clothes make you look unkempt. Make sure that your clothes, especially the one's that really needs ironing is ironed and properly kept on your wardrobe, without stains or rumpled sleeves.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a alt="Classic Fashion Trends|JanuaryGemorie" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiU1Q4iCxU-U8dr_5mMGy4bJQdxrnZZ1rTA1P4rl7_twE0c9Dl4ZOg9pKblaaaIQVgidlJzO2jIf__KMwwMvfuGooWFBgvsZby88DBZ3Ik-w3okgW9EznCYAKd6mUgKjszNaQ9vGBAnsdE/s1600/Classic+Fashion+Pieces.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiU1Q4iCxU-U8dr_5mMGy4bJQdxrnZZ1rTA1P4rl7_twE0c9Dl4ZOg9pKblaaaIQVgidlJzO2jIf__KMwwMvfuGooWFBgvsZby88DBZ3Ik-w3okgW9EznCYAKd6mUgKjszNaQ9vGBAnsdE/s1600/Classic+Fashion+Pieces.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>4. Invest in Timeless Pieces:</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Go for classic wearable pieces like the <a href="http://januarygemorie.blogspot.com/2012/05/be-fabulous-in-your-little-black-dress.html" target="_blank">little black dress that can be worn on a casual Friday</a> or on a more formal event. Choose a camel tone coat that can be worn during cold weathers, just remember to choose your silhouette wisely.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The current fashion trend for 2016 are bold and block colors of red's and blue's, you can add style by picking pieces with print stripes. What's great about this haul is that it can be worn every season.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Another tip is to invest in designer bags with classic designs if you can afford it since it can go a long way and it wont go out of style not to mention that the value just increases unless you wont take good care of it.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
You can make this classic pieces work on this era by combining what's on the latest trends, this way you wont need to spend huge amount of money.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>5. Invest in Statement Pieces:</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
What make's a classic outfit stunning are the accessories and statement pieces. As mentioned above, be it a designer piece or not, as long as you've chosen the best design that would go with different outfits in different events it can be paired to any clothes anytime </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Jacket's or coats and a niece pair of shoes are great statement pieces that when paired with cheaper or more subdued items makes the wearer look more expensive.</div>

<imageanchor style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="January Gemorie" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyvbkOsw0xUShxBnLpzZfesjnd_Vh8wzpXwL3Wk9WLCIJFQiFWRdUEdpbvahTT24hlwpfS7jSdu2r9YuHbsus48P-xCeB6ZJNmUOoK2JcrmBqOq2Np59w_1B1aM3o_Yxv1CSFqXSXyUbI/s1600/Spring+2016+Fashion+Trend+-+JanuaryGemorie.jpg" /></imageanchor></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
There’s so much to love about spring. The change of season where the temperature is perfect for strolling around while savoring the scenery of changing colors, from snow covered branches to warm browns and greens, the flower buds that’s starting to bloom and everything else.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The time to update your wardrobe has come, shove back your heavy sweaters and coats at the back of the cabinet and bring in some of your mom’s spring collection. If you haven’t notice it yet, our current trend came from the 90’s down.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Not your style? It may look daunting and outdated but believe me, you’ll definitely thank your mom for having a full wardrobe of <a href="http://januarygemorie.blogspot.com/2012/03/2012-spring-fashion-trends.html" target="_blank">spring fashion saved from her time</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>1.Denims</b> – a nineties style that’s making a comeback. Dresses, skirts, even shoes and bags in denim material are seen in the previous spring fashion shows and even celebrities. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Have you seen Selena Gomez wearing that acid-wash-colored-with-a-few-torn-parts-skirt? Even, Zayn Malic, previous One Direction member shared a picture of her “humored “girlfriend Gigi Hadid wearing a long dress with a side boob slit in a denim looking material.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.camilla.com.au/shop/dresses.html" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Spring 2016 Fashion Trend" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjn8LqnQCD0aEaB_3jOWgz6gEqiyIt6dLGzsis8TctswRJeyTC1qgZ8KQK5xgThzP3MedCelnHbno4wWMD7inFeoKSKWiFDF0gQTyRO1O031tRAdlvUfsGTWO1-tVfV-ykPay7Za8EMeTs/s1600/Spring+2016+Fashion+Trend.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>2. Dress</b> – keep your flirt up ladies, the combination of fashion and comfort items are in. The 2016 spring fashion trend features a lot of lace materials, slip dresses and jumpsuits. You might want to start shopping now. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Jumpsuits in block basic colors of white, black, blue and red seems to be showing up as a good option for office outfit, while those bright colored and printed ones are great options for outdoor fun.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>3. Tops -</b> Crops tops, Cut-off sleeves in Crochet, Suede, Net Style’s, Sheer type of material. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Spring’s weather is kind of still on the unpredictable stage, one moment its hot and sunny, next the cold wind is blowing. Cut-off sleeves and crop tops give the comfort you need in case the weather suddenly change.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Clothes made of suede materials are also a good option when it comes to unpredictable weather, they are thick enough to be worn during a slightly colder weather and are light and comfy for a spring stroll.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
On the other hand, crochet, net and sheer styles are great buys to kick off your <a href="http://januarygemorie.blogspot.com/2012/04/summer-fashion.html" target="_blank">spring break/summer outfit</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>4. Shoes –</b> time to slowly tuck away your thigh-high boots, SLOWLY because this boots are still good options when wearing a dress or short skirts. Although, I suggest you leave the ones with block heels, or your flat-form type boots.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Start collecting sling-back sandals, flat-form shoes and sneakers for spring/summer getaways. While block heels, mid-heels, denim pumps, cutout suede sandals are great buys for a more formal setting.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<imageanchor style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Spring 2016 Shoes" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpWxgyEYCSRG59UEAJp9byAvW2VUF09F1tLg7nwCsuB4dvUhfrmbg46oYhyphenhyphenQOulP44DVvugosGcN3wu3qwxJoCaJloFKuxhldA-k7oxWrx43d_UZBzl8E1fQtDc-yv5xIW5oyaNcVa_Q0/s1600/Spring+2016+-+Shoes+Trend.jpg" /></imageanchor></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>5. Accessories -</b> Handbags with embellished details like tassels, pompom, intricate beading designs, or in big bright colors are introduced by many celebrities.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Round sunglasses and suede hats also seems to be the in thing.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #e06666;">Additional Info:</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
- Choose flora printed dresses, plaids and stripes. Clothes with geometric or animal prints as this style <i>“You exude sheer strength and are an unstoppable force no matter what life throws at you.”</i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
- Invest in good sportswear. Have you seen Kendall Jenner rocking her <a href="http://likeitgirl.com/en/fashion-trend-alert-wearing-gym-wear-beyond-the-gym/" target="_blank">yoga leggings outside the gym</a>? Or Taylor Swift wearing her tracksuit while having a chitchat with friend after gym class.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Is there any trend I forgot to include? Feel free to drop me a comment.</div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjueUnrktUU7ep_KKdabKhak3mG7QAchF_uD3ICWTOrzwLAlkMeP75irRy78V0mwmuGZsesX6RR9CrxDvLF3zh7jZNTbmv3MRJOFKrhOCcUSRVbCBmSivQKC_1n4Rpt1sgVgCH0_xQZbxM/s1600/Carl+and+Ellie.gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjueUnrktUU7ep_KKdabKhak3mG7QAchF_uD3ICWTOrzwLAlkMeP75irRy78V0mwmuGZsesX6RR9CrxDvLF3zh7jZNTbmv3MRJOFKrhOCcUSRVbCBmSivQKC_1n4Rpt1sgVgCH0_xQZbxM/s1600/Carl+and+Ellie.gif" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
How do you keep the fire burning in a relationship? More overly on a relationship that has been for ages. This part is the most unnoticed and the most taken for granted part of any relationship. Some might notice it but the sadly it is very late to recover.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Below are some areas that you might find unusual but in reality it is very usual, it only becomes unusual because they are being overlooked more often than not.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>1. COMMUNICATION</b>, yes you read it right, it is very usual, in fact we communicate on a daily basis, but more often than not, in a relationship couples only talk but they do not communicate. Find time even if it's only ten minutes a day to communicate to one another and open up. If you can't communicate in the kitchen or lounge, how are you going to communicate in the bedroom?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>2. Sharing sexual fantasies with your partner</b> can be a huge turn on. Writing down your biggest sexual fantasy and your partner as well is very helpful if both of you are too shy to say it words. Sometimes just hearing your partner describe what turns them on can be so erotic. Make a rule that the last weekend of the month to have a romantic weekend away. While away, plan it so you can fulfill each other's sexual fantasies that weekend. The break might only be for two days but it will do your sex life a world of good!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>3. MAKE TIME FOR SEX</b>, in this crazy world everyone is busy doing something, but always make sure to set aside a time for sex, one night a week for adult play where you spend the night pleasuring each other. It doesn't always have to lead to full sex but it'll be a great chance for you two to explore each other and show that there is still a mutual attraction. No matter how many times you see your partner naked you can still find out new things about each other with exploration and time.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>4. Comparing your sex life to others</b>. Yes, some couples find the time to have sex seven times a week, but you don't have to feel you have to be the same. Remember not every couple is the same. If you and your partner try to live up to every other couple you know, you'll exhaust yourself. As your relationship grow, your sex life changes. As long as you and your partner are happy, stop worrying. Besides, all those couples who brag about still having sex "at least twice a day" could be lying. You don't know the ins and outs of their relationship so it's unrealistic to compare yours to theirs. Just focus on your own sex life and don't worry about what others are doing.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>5. Above all, make time for each other.</b> Sometimes you may feel there really aren't enough hours in the day to keep everyone happy. Setting aside at least one hour every night after everyone is in bed to sit with your spouse and just relax is very advisable. Spend time just cuddling on the sofa together, perhaps watching your favorite movie or TV show. Just showing that you care enough to make time for each other will make you both happy. You will look forward to your time alone every evening and cherish the time together more</div>

<a href="https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=5548646075895897123" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="The Secrets To A Happier Relationship" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfD8TxcTzjuLNZrudI4VOQG-RRMQdSHRUDVmHzgq8ZLrDS70ayvMOtmeO3Z1Dsb_kCHnDvGkOWNSjwX2qklcYB4l1CsXUfjeuo0PBor5lTqysK0Df71QK96w8Qzj1bUuodqSpwE_mI96Y/s1600/The+Secrets+To+A+Happier+Relationship+-+JanuaryGemorie.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Let’s embark on a journey towards happiness and hopefully pick something along the way that can help our relationships happier.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Happy vs Unhappy: </b>Studies say that the ratio for happy couple is 5:1, while couples who had called it quits are at 0.8:1. This means that the happy couples have five positive interactions for every negative one, versus the 0.8 positive interactions for every negative one that divorced couples go through.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Communication: </b>The determining factor in whether couples feel satisfied with sex, romance and passion in their marriage is by 70%. Happy couples and successful marriage spend at least 5 hours a week of being together doing anything or maybe just talking.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
How do we cultivate positive interactions on a daily basis? This can be done by giving compliments, showing appreciation either big or small deeds done for us, relieving fun memories and doing something nice to our partners.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>In the Bedroom: </b>It is also important to give importance the activities inside the bedroom. As the survey shows, the happiest couple have sex 2 or 3 times a week, people are 55% more likely to report higher levels of happiness when they have sex every few days and having sex once a week makes people 44% more likely to have positive feelings.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Celebration!: </b>When it comes to strengthening the relationship, studies show that the most crucial factor is how you celebrate your partner’s good news. In one study, people who did this 3x a day for 1 week increased their happiness and felt less depressed afterwards. Also, couples who have new experiences together report more loving and supportive towards one another, and more satisfied with their marriages. This can be done by simply showing enthusiasm, asking questions, congratulating their partner and relieving the experience with them. Oh, don't forget the anniversary, the birthday and that mushy day called Valentines Day, simple things to the most grandest gestures can bring more fire to your relationship.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>The Michelangelo Effect: </b>A couple in the happiest relationship also brings out the best in each other, they help each other get closer to becoming their ideal selves. In another study, couples who were asked to recall a moment that involved shared laughter reported being more satisfied in their relationship than those prompted to recall positive moments in their relationship. This can be achieved by sharing an experience together like going for an evening walk, dining in a new restaurant, exploring a place they’re never been, cooking together and going to a concert.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Kung-Fu (Fighting): </b>Not all relationships are perfect, through course of time, a clash is inevitable. Let us look on how a happy couple and unhappy couple tackle this important part of being in a relationship.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When happy couples fight, they tend to defuse tension by showing humor, expressing affection or conceding on certain points that their partner make while unhappy couple tends to criticize, show contempt, roll their eyes, act defensively, resort to name calling or tune out.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>After Effect of I Do's: </b>Based on a two decade British study, the people who are happiest with their marriages are those who have been married 5 years or less, don’t have any children, have college degrees and the man of house is employed.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
With regards to being married, Americans reveals the top 5 reasons why they get into marriage. The top reason is Love at 93% followed by Making a Lifelong Commitment at 87% then Companionship at 81% succeeded by Having Children at 59% and lastly due to Financial Stability at 31%. In addition, couples who can put a positive spin on their marriage have a 94% chance of experiencing a happy future together.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Plus One-Two-Three: </b>One of the most important phases of a couple is having children. For some, this can be either a blessing or a curse, depending on the couple. Based on studies, right immediately following the birth of the first baby, 33% feel just as satisfied or more satisfied than before while 67% experiences a big dip in marital satisfaction.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Education: </b>Education comes next to having children. Married couples are unhappiest when kids are in pre-school mainly because of separation anxiety and the feel of their kid/children growing up to soon while couples’ happiest levels increase once again once the youngest kid has grown up.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>From the Beginning to the Twilight Zone: </b>Lastly, Marriages leads to a big happiness boost for 2 years, on the average. After that, couples’ happiness levels tend to return to what they were prior to the engagement.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A happy marriage is also worth an additional $105,000 a year in terms of life satisfaction while experiencing the death of a spouse/partner is like losing $308,780 per year.</div>

<br />
The title probably sounds so bitter, but I don’t feel bitter at all, in fact, I had a really great time with myself.<br />
<br />
Earlier, I had a sumptuous breakfast with my family - which for some reason, we have a complete table attendance except for my dad who’s working outside the country – a little chat here and there, a few minutes of playtime with my ten month old nephew, and the next thing I knew, I was alone in the house. <br />
<br />
My sister has a prom to attend so she, together with our mom, left early for her salon appointment. We bought a meal + beauty + pampering GC for our mom on the same hotel where my sister’s prom will be held. <br />
<br />
My brother probably had a date or, is going to look for a date with his unattached friends. The other brother went out with his wife and their kid, plus our dog, so I was really alone.<br />
<br />
A few weeks before, I was invited for an event but I declined since I had things already planned (a meeting with a potential client on Valentine’s Day, that sucks!), which was cancelled the night before Valentine’s Day (so annoying!) and my friends already found something (more like someone) to do on the VDay.<br />
<br />
So, alone in a big house, with nothing to do and nowhere to go to (more like too lazy to move) I decided to catch up with some good movies. However, before that, let’s go prepare some drinks as well as something to eat since I don’t particularly like to order pizza or whatever, and the easiest, fastest but yummy food to cook is pasta. All you need is pasta of course, some tomato’s, olive oil, some spices and it’ll be a good, fulfilling food.<br />
<br />
Prepare two pans, one is for the pasta, the other is for the sauce, boil some water, add some salt, dump the pasta and wait till its al dente. On the other pan, sauté garlic, onion, tomato’s, add your spices, salt and pepper, if you have meat or seafood or veggies go and dump it all in. I had spaghetti alla puttanesca. For the drinks, I just prepared a pitcher of orange juice with lots of ice and some gin, just a little bit.<br />
<br />
Next, prepare the DVD’s, the sofa, the blanket and lot’s of pillow if you choose to watch on the living room, which I did, since the entertainment system is installed in our living room. <br />
<br />
I had a Legolas marathon, from the “The Lord Ring” trilogy The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of the King, to the “The Hobbit” trilogy An Unexpected Journey, The Desolation of Smaug and the Battle of the Five armies.<br />
<br />
I started around two or three o’clock? I fell asleep somewhere in the middle of the second installment of the hobbit trilogy, woke up with the movie credits on the screen, put the last DVD, and voila it’s past 12 midnight, another Valentine’s Day is over, I ate my own cooked meal, had a drink I made myself, watch a movie all by myself and survived the day of love, and frankly I can say, indeed I had fun giving myself some love.<br />
<br />

Here’s a List of Fantabulous Idea’s to Own Valentine’s Day<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHWEXge9a5jQjiX-MXNZWzfgQ0Y1a9V_hktY0V8HLi96ev5ikSDElSVawQsXwpdJ1ysMkM0g_KALBwpQRNcuu_bFgqySSsojUB6ttdmy0mv7vwB9xwyOJ_sXONU3fRApJWOrt1Yi-hvok/s1600/Spend+Valentines+Day+Single+-+JanuaryGemorie.jpg" /></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>All the single ladies (All the single ladies)</i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>All the single ladies (All the single ladies)</i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>All the single ladies (All the single ladies)</i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>All the single ladies</i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>Now put your hands up</i></div>
<br />
What’s your reason for being alone this Valentine’s Day? Was it by choice? Did you get your heart broken? Someone jilted on you, or was it you who broke someone’s heart? Or maybe it’s the classic no boyfriend since birth kind of thing? <br />
<br />
Whatever your reason is, being alone seems like a crazy idea this big V Day while being single is such a pathetic thing. (Oh, come on! Don’t try to deny it to me, once or twice, you feel pathetic for being single this love month – I do too, no biggie) <br />
<br />
Moreover, what’s so hateful about this day is that being single is like committing a crime, your attached friends will try to set you up on a blind date, your family (your mom, your aunt’s and your sister in particular) will introduced you to this guy, your sister’s colleague, her boyfriend’s friend, one of the many son, nephew, godchild of your aunt or your mother’s friend etc.<br />
<br />
For me it’s like testing my patience and sometimes a hassle. I am not in a rush to date, or to fall in love again. But being alone and doing nothing like it’s just a regular day on the calendar is just unacceptable. So I listed down some things you can do alone or with your single friends on Valentine’s Day.<br />
<br />
<b>1. Browse some dating apps:</b> Cheapest and easiest way to pass some hours during the V Day. Swipe right if he/she caught your attention, swipe left for those who didn’t get you curious, shake here and there to find someone near your place, etc. <br />
<br />
You can choose which one to join among the hundreds of dating apps available for android and iPhone users. There is Tinder, Hinge, Coffee Meets Bagel, OkCupid etc and oh! Did you know that there are <a href="http://www.proudnpride.com/gay-asia/asian-fun-stuff/top-5-gay-dating-apps-ios-android-20140929.html" target="_blank">dating apps that caters solely to the LGBT community</a>? Remember to add on your best picture, who knows, maybe your soul mate is on that other line. Don’t tell me you don’t own a smartphone? Who in this generation doesn’t have a smartphone?<br />
<br />
<b>2. Join a Speed Dating Event:</b> A little taboo and out of fashion but hey it’s fun, you’ll get to know lots of people, you get to practice your social skills, dress up (one speed dating event I participated had a theme) make new friends or meet a possible love interest, not bad right?<br />
<br />
<b>3. Make it a Family Affair:</b> What’s so bad about spending your Valentine’s Day with your family? My dad works out of the country so we (me and my siblings) make it a point to celebrate Valentine’s Day with our mom. Treat her out to lunch or dinner, give her flowers, an out of town trip, or a shopping spree is not a bad idea.<br />
<br />
<b>4. Singles Party:</b> Gather up your single friends or better yet invite all the singles in town and party. Not sure if you can be a good host? RSVP yes to an invitation or better yet, crash someone else’s party. Good food, good music and a couple glasses of booze and it’s a night of fun. <br />
<br />
<b>5. Me time:</b> Indulge yourself, be it a lavish mani-pedi, body scrub, massage kind of activity or the shop till you drop kind of thing, or just go home early, binge on good food, good wine and an even better movie, a good rest, a long nap and you’ll be surprised how blooming and radiant you’ll be the next day, so go on, spend the day loving yourself.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i><b>Food For Your Thoughts:</b> </i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>Don't worry if your single, </i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>God is looking at you right now saying, </i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>"I am saving this girl for someone special"</i></div>

<a href="https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=5548646075895897123" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaKbktcJQvPc1OH8D74G3umOpopY4URMI6lObhyci_2LRkfuVP1nsPQ0SFg58VlIs3_ppj02RIWG-ue8zk3dfb8w-5e-XKXi5K4U6uQOZPMtn87P38TD-7zeBp5_9PJYqAbQckNZufV8g/s1600/Christmas+Gift+Guide+for+Toddlers+-+JanuaryGemorie.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
OMG, December is here! Oh man, what the heck had happened? I slept in an August midnight and wham bam! I woke up on a December morning.<br />
<br />
Christmas rush again, I have an on-going list of God children, niece, nephew, sister-in-law, little sister, brothers, colleagues, etc. And unlike in the other countries I lived before, here in the Philippines where I am currently based, Christmas is an event where everyone participates. <br />
<br />
Anyway, as I’ve mentioned earlier, I have tons of people to give gifts, so do you, right? Tell me I am right, that I’m not the only one facing this kind of happy mess.<br />
<br />
You know like anyone in the planet who have an on-going Christmas list, I have no idea what to give and at the same time I have lots of options, but with Christmas just a couple of weeks to go and all the stores packed with Christmas shoppers, I don’t think you would want to stay in a jam-packed department store to browse every item, so the best thing to do is prepare a Christmas list, name, options, something like that. <br />
<br />
Let’s start with the toddlers. I have an eight month old nephew named Jacob and for kids his age let’s stick to the rule “nothing to small” since they tend to put every single thing they can hold on their mouth. <br />
<br />
My first option is a character hoodie shirt but I remember seeing his closet full of those kinds of clothes, Nemo from Finding Nemo, Stitch from Lilo and Stitch, Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon just to name a few, plus buying clothes for toddlers can be a tricky thing, size for one thing, if you are not sure of the kids size stay away from buying clothes. <br />
<br />
So my next option according to the internet is a complete set of baby bath things, from shampoo, soap, powder to baby oils to bath essentials and floating toys but I don’t thinks that a nice idea, sure my niece enjoys his bath time but yeah, he won’t enjoy those things plus his grandmothers (take note the “s”, he he he) bought a year worth of supply and remember our rule “nothing to small”.<br />
<br />
I think the safest are plush toys both for boys and girls, there are lots of characters to choose from, and an array of sizes, from the 12 inches ones to the bigger ones, take some time watching the Disney channel to see the popular cartoon characters and check the toy store’s or better yet online stores since most of the rare ones are sold online. <br />
<br />
As for kids three and up, toys, coloring books and some art materials are the safest choice, maybe toy cars, train set and robots for boys, as for the little ladies, there are tons of options, from dolls to kid friendly make-up kits, brush set with battery operated hair dryer and curling irons (gosh, If I’m still a kid I would love to receive that kind of gift).<br />
<br />
So that’s it, feel free to give me some suggestion. <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQtR60-phcUit1WAYhRXnaJq2Q9lwrBVrjJ7q_RYwDjwUTnNNSemJV9tQU2zGoeCYw2jktvEl7cvUly_5kNIopa0_uOfRHWuv9_A8hmjEbtHERQ81JfNGZTTr7QXU9W3u6ASTyu0opmAo/s1600/Neil+Patrick+Harris+-+JanuaryGemorie.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQtR60-phcUit1WAYhRXnaJq2Q9lwrBVrjJ7q_RYwDjwUTnNNSemJV9tQU2zGoeCYw2jktvEl7cvUly_5kNIopa0_uOfRHWuv9_A8hmjEbtHERQ81JfNGZTTr7QXU9W3u6ASTyu0opmAo/s1600/Neil+Patrick+Harris+-+JanuaryGemorie.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
You must have seen it on TV, or read from leading tabloids and magazines – that George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin’s celebrated and romantic Italian wedding on September 27th. It sure did get all the attention and media hype as the world’s most eligible bachelor finally surrendered his bachelor and single status to his Lebanese-born British lawyer fiancée Amal Alamuddin.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
But Neil Patrick Harris had something to say to the world – that he got married in Italy first. When Harris appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman on September 29, he joked about Clooney not showing pictures of his wedding on talk shows. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Fact is, Harris got married to his long-time partner David Burtka over the summer in a small Italian town near Perugia with about 50 guests witnessing their sweet moment. And Elton John sang a few songs for the couple. Harris told Letterman that Elton John is a friend but he didn’t expect him to do that. He and Burtka were so overwhelmed especially when Elton introduced their first dance as a couple. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
They danced to Kelly Clarkson’s “A Moment Like This”, a song chosen for the couple’s first dance as they were crazy about Clarkson during American Idol’s very first season where she was declared the winner. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The wedding venue – Italy, was chosen because the couple spent their first trip together in a castle owned by a friend of a friend who knew the dude that owned the castle. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And after being together for over a decade, Neil Patrick Harris and boyfriend David Burtka happily got married – and yes, way before George Clooney did! </div>

<a href="https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=5548646075895897123" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Red String of Fate | JanuaryGemorie" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1bzFvNC8FBPo3j17K7HIaIE5IheiAoM6R8CHO5cjj8N7UXoHfLoHFp7Ty9W5togFuI_aroBg7718kAS9QeF7EjQ-j2Tz3iSZIICAHnLep8ZKF_NtRSPXRMN7g8AGczq8Jj3xEv8Ej5yM/s1600/Red+String+of+Fate+-+JanuaryGemorie.png" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
First and foremost, this is just a re-post from a Facebook friends wall who also re-posted this. Said she found it somewhere in Tumblr but too lazy to browse the entire page to see who originally posted this. I found it somewhat nice and decided to share it to you who's reading right this very moment. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So here it is, hope you like it too, and be inspired, never lose hope, he's/she's somewhere out there with the same hope of meeting you soon.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
All of a sudden two decades have passed and you still have not kissed anyone with tongue, or kissed anyone at all for that matter, or had a 3 AM conversation with someone who would rather look into your eyes for ten minutes straight than talk. You have never worn a lover’s sweater or “forgotten” it at home in your bedroom just so you would have an excuse to see them again. You have never even stood face-to-face with someone who makes your hands shake so hard it feels like they’re both having a separate anxiety attack.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This causes you much guilt and self-blame and sadness but above all, an overwhelming curiosity. Are you really that ugly, that unwanted, that uninteresting, that boring, that no one, absolutely no one, has ever looked at you like the only thing on earth?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The answer is no. The better answer is that someone out there, somewhere in the world, is “wondering what it’s like to meet someone like you,” and they have two decades worth of love stored in their veins like a shoot-‘em-up drug, and they’re just about ready to inject it into someone else’s bloodstream. All you have to do is roll up your sleeves and wait for it to happen.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
At times you felt so lonely you could stand at the edge of a cliff with nothing beneath you but air and grass and a long, long way down, and you’d still feel emptier than that canyon itself. Maybe you even danced with yourself alone in your room a few times, arms outstretched around a ghost, pretending someone else’s hands were on your waist, someone else’s eyes boring into yours.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Or maybe you fell temporarily in love with strangers on public transportation, fell in love with anybody who so much as accidentally brushed your hand on the way past. For you, falling in love with dozens of people a day was a coping mechanism for not having anyone to love you in return. But people are not eggs and falling in love with a dozen of them does not mean your shell will remain un-cracked. One day you’re going to hit the point where you’re so desperate for human contact that you’re going to snap in half and all your love will bleed out like egg yolk.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
But someone out there is eating a bowl of Ramen noodles right now, or putting on slippers, or settling into bed. They are doing all the normal things that you've done in your own life. They are just like you. They have cellulite and extra fat in all the wrong places and goals and fears and doubts and bad handwriting.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The truth is that they are just like you, and being just like you, they’re looking for a lover too. They’re what you might call a soul mate. They think they’re all alone in feeling the way they do, but you’re really both two halves of a whole.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And one day you’ll meet them, bump into them on the street, and your two halves will be put together, and you’ll make one.</div>
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12974024168981000537noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5548646075895897123.post-10485375517448767652014-10-29T23:08:00.001+08:002014-10-29T23:08:34.737+08:00The Red Flags of an Unhealthy Relationship<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=5548646075895897123" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="The Red Flags of an Unhealthy Relationship | JanuaryGemorie" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUS_YUuifPYZuMtZv0V5RI53wOt5nqV0SCNIKqmnfosIWi84n7LZYxQVasVlpzCrnShUjdeVavKp6Sqg9lbLMJ6P73X48ZR0gjFgxSbOxJ0TkkHQ1K7hMLtcGVu0YnePr7ZbVFxDWVmwQ/s1600/The+Red+Flags+of+an+Unhealthy+Relationship.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So you finally found "the ONE", after years of waiting, of being with someone else, finally, finally that one particular person has cross your path, one who will embrace all of you, and you to him. You've been together for quite some time now, you're even thinking its time to take it to the next level, marriage! A house, a car, a dog, a kid or two?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
But wait, are you sure? I mean really, really sure? Can the both of you stand each other for the rest of your lives? Its forever we're talking here. Questions, doubts, a never ending one for that matter. I hope I can answer it for you, or rather I hope I have the answer to your questions.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Premature decisions, late realizations, and the next thing you knew, you where signing divorce papers. That's sad, thinking that person is "the One", and yet you both failed to stay together, and that uneasiness is starting to crawl up your head. Perhaps this are just what people call "wedding jitters", but what if its not? Are there any signs to prevent you from signing that awful divorce paper? Of course there is.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here are 3 red flags that you should be aware of before you let things go any further.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>1. He/She's Just Not That Into You. </b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Admit it or not, sex is an important factor in marriage. Although, being not really into sex is something that can be a plus to other, (time of the month, not in the mood, too tired from work, working overtime etc) it can also raise an issue, a suspicion, in the long run. Why does he/she not insisting of having some hot night? He's always too tired when he gets home. She's always with her girls. Then wham bam! Is he cheating on me? Is she having an affair?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Someone that never initiates sex? Who never brings it up? Who never tries to seduce you? You need to look into that, because it's definitely atypical. There are many reasons why someone may not seem interested in sex. He or she could be gay, he or she could be depressed and he or she may be getting some on the side. Whatever the problem is, you'd better uncover it before making a commitment because it's almost always an indication of a bigger issue that's just going to blow up in a much worse way later on.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>2. Mood Swing and Coping Up</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This touches on two things crucial to a long-term relationship, Emotional resilience and healthy coping mechanisms. We all have our ups and downs, we're human. It's how we respond that matters. How does one handle changes? Rejections? Failures? Big or small, how does he/she face these circumstances? </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
There are healthy ways to deal with stress and there are unhealthy ways. If you saw your partner mopping around like a child with even the slightest, smallest ordeal, your facing a huge, huge trouble dear. Make sure that your partner can see past the frustrations of the moment, that he/she can deal with it using his/her own strength and abilities, that he can get back up, standing proud and tall.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>3. A lone wolf with few friends who feels largely misunderstood by the world. </b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This has a romantic allure, only you truly understand your partner. You're both that special. But there's a dark side to this personality type that could undermine your relationship down the road. Everyone should have at least a couple long-term friends. That's a sign of loyalty and empathy.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Even artists with eccentric vision find people to connect with. You want to see your man or woman connecting with others in a positive way because it shows he can work as a team and marriage is a lot about teamwork. Plus, you cannot be anyone's sole life line. It's unhealthy to be anyone's "everything." That’s what you call codependent relationship.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Just because you're finally facing a relationship deal breaker doesn't necessarily mean it's over between you forever. Maybe it means your partner needs to get help so he can get to a place where he or she can truly commit to you. Helping him or her face the issues is the most altruistic, selfless way to love your partner.</div>

<a href="https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=5548646075895897123" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgqWUTjvpLj5GzvTn69NB6KO3j6BDiGoJWvgqDknlSZcjF4sZD_V2knS9vmlZhuQYFCbI62fjoCLqeRLpf4JY1yZchvSrxrawYx9r6HNDElLLWytk462795ObP1xDoaDDSCRyddSvr4Sqg/s1600/2014Blogapalooza+-+JanuaryGemorie.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Last Saturday, October 11, 2014, me, my friends/business partners as well as our fellow bloggers gather at SMX Taguig, SM Aura for the Blogapalooza 2014. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
First you need to confirm your name and blog name, then you will be given a Blogapalooza printed eco bag, an ID, and a sticker with a certain number which pair you will need to look inside the venue to win a price from EatOutManila, and your good to go inside the event area. Inside we are welcomed by a live band singing some Maroon 5 Song.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Blogapalooza is the “biggest business to blogger networking and marketing event” where businesses shares their services and products to different bloggers who will eventually write an online review – on our end we have an online review plus lots of pictures posted on social media sites such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It was the first time I attend the Blogapalooza event, and although it wasn’t what I expected it to be –looking at the previous Blogapalooza years – I enjoyed it nonetheless. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
There were lots of booths, Acer for one, which I enjoyed the most, with their latest mobile phone that can match to Samsungs Note II. Canon and their underwater video camera, to the usual names like Globe, Sky Cable, etc.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
There is also a Bioessence booth where they offered a free back massage or a facial, too bad the line is way too long, I didn’t get the chance to go back to their booth to check if it’s my turn, but I receive a Premium Pass. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Flawless is also full with bloggers trying their games to win some souvenirs, Jergens which I honestly didn’t notice –sorry, maybe Im too preoccupied by other booths or there are way too many people on their booth I didn’t bother to take a peak. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Bangs by Tony and Jackey gave out a Free Hair Keratin Treatment worth P1500 which you can use if you avail any hair service.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Travel related booths and hotel and restaurant booths gave out gift certificates. I got a coupon and a gift certificate from Ace Water Spa a Free one (1) glass of Ace Punch at Sky High Bar.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
What I love the most in this event is that food is free and flowing. There is Yellow Cab giving away free slices of pizza, Chips Ahoy, with cookies, House of Lasagna which I didn’t get the chance to have a bite –every time we go back to their booth, their lasagna is out – but I did receive a P100 worth of gift certificate. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Chooks to Go gave out a bucket of roasted chicken, the aroma filled the air around 2:30? Not really sure, I just remembered that it was around the time after I took some bathroom break. Krispy Kreme’s booth has a long line since they’re giving away their yummy treat and some balloons. Max’s booth probably opened a little too late, I saw them preparing their booth around 1pm.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hmm what else, Oh NIU by Vikings gave out a free food tasting around 3:30 at the sixth floor of SM Aura. You can check out our NIU experience Here</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
All in all, it’s an event one must see. I went home tired but very, very satisfied. I meet bloggers, learn a few things and closed a few deals, yay! Too bad I didn’t get even a single umbrella.</div>

<a href="https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=5548646075895897123" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Outdoor activity" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_TpJoTHfkA2lqHNXkPyZ2xaFMl-i2HlTJYUCbqkJEpznYULuiOwL8moDTge5YBO-NjHUW0Yg7N70Gr6hdWg1No6XifJLAjJ1vqu9qhrVij8WihSuqU8CYUQds80b9F6-UnF11EY4DFAI/s1600/Weekend.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, and inline skating allow you to reap up to six times more fat-blasting, body-shaping benefits than cruising around the neighborhood on foot. And you don't have to be a hard-core athlete or fitness freak to get the most out of the five we're suggesting.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Top off your normal weekday exercise routine with one of these exhilarating weekend activities to get fit and firm fast and enjoy the company of your family and friends at the same time.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>KAYAKING</b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">It burns at least 340 per hour and will give you a sculpted upper body. <i>"Pulling the paddle against the water is great resistance,"</i> says 29-year-old Michelle Christensen of Baltimore, who spends summer weekends kayaking around the Chesapeake Bay. <i>"You target your shoulders, triceps, biceps, back, and core." </i>She added. Kayaking is like meditating on water, says Rhett Pruitt, a 34-year-old raft guide and recreational kayaker in Long Creek, SC. She opts for tranquil sea kayaking over exhilarating white water when she's craving peace and quiet. <i>"Sea kayaking is not intimidating,"</i> she says. <i>"You're just inches above the water—the perfect vantage point for taking in the abundant wildlife and sea life that you would never see otherwise."</i> Beginners should use an open kayak or take a lesson to learn how to escape the kayak first.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>HIKING</b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Hiking can improve cardiovascular fitness and will burn up to 400 per hour. "There's a lot of lung cancer in my family," says 49-year-old hiker Lynn Anderson, from Helena, MT. "It's always been a priority to keep my lungs in tip-top shape." Hiking will also give you stronger, leaner thighs and firm your rear to boot. You get to unplug from society. Hiker Lori Pfankuch, 47, who traverses Glacier National Park in northwestern Montana, says: "Hiking takes you out of your world so you can reflect. I've seen mountain goats, I eat huckleberries on the trail, and last summer I saw my first grizzly bear." Invest in a good pair of boots or trail and be sure to break them in by wearing them on errands before you hike.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>SPEEDMINTON</b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">This new game is a cross between racquetball, badminton, and tennis but with no nets or walls involved. Players bat a speeder which looks like the birdie used in badminton back and forth using lightweight racquets. It can also burn about 400 calories per hour. "If you can swing a racquet, you can learn to play, and it's great cardio," says 30-year-old Christina Higgins of San Diego, mother to a newborn and a toddler. "The results are similar to those in tennis--sculpted arms and back, toned legs, and better hand-eye coordination.” "Our neighbors introduced my husband and me to the game, so now we all play in our cul-de-sac," Higgins says. "The speeder glows, so we can even play well into the night." Pack chalk to draw a court, and remember: It's just a game.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>CYCLING</b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">500 to 700 calories per hour can be burned, depending on speed and terrain. It improves cardiovascular fitness give you solid legs and buns. "It helped me lose 20 pounds!" says Jan Reeves, 49, a recreational cyclist and mother of four in Lexington, KY. “And I eat whatever I want." Cycling will give you more zip, both on and off the bike. "My kids told me I needed to get a life," says Reeves, who started cycling as a way to meet people after her divorce. When she completed a 4-day, 300-mile cycling trip last fall, she felt "totally empowered and energized; my kids are really proud that I ride." Spandex can be unflattering, but it makes a huge difference when cycling. Cycle shorts provide padding and wick away moisture, preventing your rear end, legs and crotch from getting chafed.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>INLINE SKATING </b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Inline Skating sculpts your buns and thighs without pounding your knees. Skating is much less jarring than other high-intensity sports like jogging. "I was a runner for years but switched to skating when running started to hurt," says Joanne Geveshausen, 48, of Winchester, KY.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">It also provides a high-adrenaline release from mental baggage. "I needed an activity that demanded total concentration and the gym wasn't cutting it," says Phyllis Wolf, 62, of Chicago, who started skating 4 years ago as a way to deal with the stress of caring for elderly relatives. "I skate for hours then go to the senior center and nothing bothers me."</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Don't be intimidated. "Few people my age are skating, which is too bad," says the self-proclaimed speedster. Wolf's advice is to ease into it by taking lessons. Inline Skating also burns up to 816 calories per hour.</span></div>

<a href="https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=5548646075895897123" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="brazilian waxing" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-v-9pA5grSok/VCmWUo_ER-I/AAAAAAAABqc/uQXjLdhrqbI/s1600/Brazillian%2BWaxing.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
Wanna feel sexy? Maybe thinking of being naughty tonight? How about trying some Brazilian waxing today? But, before you get jump into the bed of a waxing specialist, there are several things you must consider. For example, we both know there are countless spa around the city, so which spa would you choose? How much is your budget? Are you willing to pay a few more bucks? What are the things you must consider before you go as well as the restrictions after the treatment. <br />
<br />
Here are some suggestions on what you should do before and after.<br />
<br />
<b>Handling the Wax</b><br />
You have to consider 2 things when you’re getting your first Brazilian wax session. First, it hurts and second, you should be comfortable laying a table with your vagina exposed to a stranger. From your hair is getting pulled out by the root to tears streaming down your face to shouting at the top of your lungs with each pull or not being able to walk after will be a normal sight for starters. As far as showing your vagina to a stranger, you can't get around that. Either you know the person or you don't. Just don't make it weird, they see a lot so they won't make it weird. <br />
<br />
<b>Ask Friends</b><br />
Ask around. If you happen to have a friend that has had a wax or a friend that is an esthetician would be best. That friend can answer questions and give suggestions on places to go. They may even be able to give you a spa name and their referral for who to go to I say go there. This may not be an option if they live a lifestyle you can't afford but they can still give you tips on how to deal with a wax in general. If that is the case, keep reading I have tips on finding a spa starting from scratch.<br />
<br />
<b>Use the Internet</b><br />
Second suggestion search spas then look at the people and read reviews. When looking at the people I'm talking about through the spa's website. Most spas have a website which then has some page that is something to the effect of "meet the staff" or the like. Look at that and there should be a head esthetician. Look at their experience, a lot of experience is a good sign. Also, not every spa has a website. It's up to you to decide to give it a shot or not.<br />
<br />
<b>Price</b><br />
When searching for a spa to go to you have to keep price in mind. Waxes are a luxury so they aren't cheap but they shouldn't be an extravagant amount either. <br />
<br />
<b>Before </b><br />
What do you do before you go get a wax? Use the toilet and make sure to have on deodorant but there is a bit more to it than that.<br />
<ul>
<li>Be Clean - a warm shower opens up your pores so the hair will come out easier. If you have to use the bathroom it's ok if you end up doing that right before you walk in for the wax. It's better to not have to worry about holding it while your waxer is working.</li>
<li>Be Calm - You don't want to be stressed out when you’re getting a wax. If you are tense you're more likely to flex your muscles which will then hold the hair follicle more making the hair hurt more coming out.</li>
<li>Wear Comfy Clothes - It really depends on you what you wear on top but on bottom. something loose fitting. The skin will also be sensitive afterwards so if you wear something tight it will probably rub and irritate you. I wouldn't suggest a thong even though a well-fitting one doesn't rub only because there may be wax residue on you after and that can get weird.</li>
<li>Optional Pain Relief - You can take a pain killer if you're really worried about the pain, just take it an hour or so before your appointment.</li>
</ul>
<b>After </b><br />
It's different for every person and each esthetician’s practices vary so these aren't rock solid rules, more like good guidelines. <br />
<br />
<ul>
<li>No Vigorous Activity - It wasn't pain it’s nota good idea to get really sweaty down there after that sort of process. You'll be able to tell based on how you feel if you will follow this rule.</li>
<li>Exfoliate - To keep from getting ingrown hairs you need to exfoliate once in a while. Ask for suggestions at the spa. Some people are more prone to ingrowns and some people aren't. It's just a good idea to keep clean and not let dead skin build up. Plus it's often been an experience that there is some “wax” residue on the skin afterwards.</li>
</ul>
Now you have it, be sure to share your experience.<br />

<imageanchor style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="idle time quotes" border="0" height="401" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNxrkSdg0WPHAfKNh8TzZAXXED_EtsH-zGxKGomX3czqXn-xz-Hpojxv7VDilbQyK-qZxb3U_V0HRqlYHjZz8xQrPnssHT1vpaKUCEX_xzTnsxinBamCCA8GIgSK17G3PFDaE9qEoJjXI/s640/idle+time.jpg" width="640" /></imageanchor></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">It was early of this month when I decided to finalized things, be-over-with-and-done, I resigned, packed my things and become the bum that I currently am. I kinda feel a little burn-out though that's not the main reason why I decided quitting, there are things that are hard to explain and things that have no explanation at all. Sometimes you just feel like there's something missing, something wrong, or maybe you just need a little time for yourself.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">So there, I quit, one week of rest feels really good, sleep really late and wake up whatever time you like, eat, sleep, watch some movies at home, <i>re-runs of America's Next Top Model</i>, clean a little, wash some laundry, that's basically what my first week is. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The second week hit's and man, I feel so bored with the sleep and eat routine, there are no good shows to watch, laundry to wash, I started cramming with my books that was bought months and months ago sitting lonely on my book shelves.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I picked-up <i>Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James</i> which I borred from a friend, heard this one is good, It didn't last long, by the time I flip the pages to Chapter 5 Im over, guess I will take a few more months to pick it up again so I browse again and notice I have a copy of <i>Crescendo</i>, the second installment from <i>Becca Fitzpatrick's Hush Hush series</i>, I've read Hush Hush and it's okay, on the other hand, Crescendo is something I dont have the interest of reading as of Chapter 2. With that being said, I lost interest with books, opened my laptop and hit <i>Mangable </i>where a collection of manga or Japanese comicks is found translated in English, my dashboard indicate that the series I am following are updated so I started reading them one by one.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Thankfully I have some <i>"business"</i> that needs my attention, like catching up with colleagues, eating out with my family to have some bonding time, travel with my friends and some papers that my dad needs and since he's out of the country, I being the <i>"on leave"</i> daughter was asked to finished those tasks.</span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">It's been raining all day and all night these past weeks, I hate going out with this kind of weather, but things should start rolling again, I don't want to be a bum and as I saw my bank book I kinda feel lonely because for a whole month, nothing has been added.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">As of earlier, I started sending my CV's and resume's and hopefully, by the end of this month, since Im feed-up of being <i>"on vacation mode"</i>, I can be a part of a new team and start my journey to the stressful life if being in the Information Technology related Industry.</span></div>

<imageanchor style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="celebrity scandals" border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-O3Gwo-AFjlU/UimHcrsVHsI/AAAAAAAABno/RBMpNXQdX7M/s1600/celebrity+scandal.jpg" /></imageanchor></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">That moment when an A-list celebrity’s <i>“stupid actions”, “wham bham photos” </i>and other <i>“private moments”</i> leaks out online and becomes the hottest trending topic.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Honestly, what’s this celebrity’s taking almost naked if not naked pictures, videotaping their crazy invitation only parties, their steamy private moments using their gadgets, GADGETS where the contents can be copied, gadgets that are easily misplaced and stolen. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">And that’s not all, remember the latest MTV Music Video Awards, when Miley Cyrus, a former Disney star, the Hanna Montana we all grow up watching started twerking, bumping and grinding, and mind you, her transition to adult stage started after getting an Oh so short haircut, takes pictures of herself, tongue-sticking-out, wearing her panties, post it on instagram and voila, a hot trending topic.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<imageanchor style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Miley Cyrus MTV Music Video Awards 2013" border="0" height="191" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-hXRFi_eD-Ew/UimJlbaDw0I/AAAAAAAABn8/JOElIFAgAl4/s400/Miley+Cyrus.jpg" width="400" /></imageanchor></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Then there is Justin Bieber (though I don’t see him on celebrity red carpet as often as before) peeing on a mop bucket! Oh my gee! Really, what’s with this celebrity’s doing crazy things in public where the paparazzi’s are in every nook and cranny ready to pounce at every stupid thing they do at every crazy word they say.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">So okay, they got the attention of the public, but man, do you want to be regarded forever as “The guy who pee’s on a mop bucket” or “The girl caught making out” maybe “The prince who’s partying naked”.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">If you really want a remembrance of your private moments make sure your gadgets are password protected, transfer it on a zip file and encrypt a password, in case you misplace your things you can be assured that it would take time before someone can open your gadgets, and if ever they got the chance to guess your password, your private moments are protected by an encryption.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">If you are a public figure, be always cautious, with your actions and your every word, remember, the paparazzi’s camera is always ready to take a shot. </span></div>

<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Recently I'm getting oh so addicted with Korean Drama's, well okay, not just recently, I've been watching ever since the <i>Hallyu in the Philippines</i> started, oh wait a second, does Meteor Garden part of the Hallyu? Anyway, as I was saying I'm getting addicted again with this chinkey eyed beauties, this time Korean Drama's.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="The Hallu Fever" border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-YYYJt9-W9CY/UR-wwmMz1hI/AAAAAAAABhY/d8qD85JI9rY/s320/Hallu.jpg" /></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">I guess the Korean Drama <i>"Personal Preference" or "Personal Taste"</i> brought back my mood to watch drama's from Korea, maybe its because I got hooked with <i>Lee Min Ho</i>, nah, I think its because of the story, its actually a bittersweet romance comedy rolled all in one, a must watch I suggest.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Then again, I got busy with <i>Manga or Japanese</i> comics. I'm not a bum okay, I got some work. Anyway going back to the topic, a few month's back when I can still go home early, this certain network airs <i>"The Moon that Embraces the Sun" also known as "Moon Embracing the Sun"</i> among other names, I love it, period.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Next is <i>"Lie to Me" (달콤한 스캔들 / Sweet Scandal)</i>, hay! I really like Yoon Eun Hye</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">from <i>Coffee Prince</i>, isn't she cute. Then, the recently finished <i>"The Princesses Man"</i>, if you have watched <i>"The Moon that Embraces the Sun"</i> and loved it, surely you'll also get hooked with this bittersweet series. That was the first time I have watched something from <i>Moon Chae Won</i> but with <i>Park Shi Hoo's</i> case I've seen him in <i>"Prosecutor Princess"</i>.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">The last Korean drama I've finished is <i>"The Greatest Love"</i>, it started somewhat boring but as the story goes its something you cant stop watching. I love the ending. Next would be, well stand by for it since I'm still contemplating whether to watch <i>"Big" </i>or <i>"Flower Boy Ramyun".</i></span></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Here's a short synopsis of the Korean Drama's I've mentioned </span></b></div>

Hmm, not so surprising at all, to think that the recent spring collection by the top names in the world of fashion and design consists of hues of emeralds. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://januarygemorie.blogspot.com/2012/11/fall-winter-fashion-trend-burgundy.html" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Pantone Color for 2013 is Emerald" border="0" height="200" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ZsS2MkT1yWs/UMp4IpkDDtI/AAAAAAAABdY/Zxv5KicnXxM/s400/color%2Bof%2Bthe%2Byear.jpg" title="Emerald: 2013’s Color of the Year" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Did you know that Emerald is May’s birthstone jewelry, and my, my, I was born in the month of May, that is why I am so happy and excited, because Emerald being 2012’s color of the year means there will be lots and lots of fashion jewelry and clothes in the shade of green, what a refreshing year we have.</span></div><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I've been a sucker for emerald since I was 16, and mind you I am only in my early 20's. I still remember, when I was in Elementary my favorite color is pink, then it changed into sky blue when I entered High School, at 16, my mom told me that Emerald is my birthstone jewelry, that explains the emerald gemstone in my earring which I am wearing since I was 3 she said. From then on Emerald is on my top favorites.</span></div><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Anyway, here's a photo of my very first emerald earring, the one I was wearing when I was three. I just notice that young girls usually have stud earrings, I guess most of us started with a stud earring, I remember when I got my second piercing a mommy and her baby was first in line and her daughter's very first earring is also a stud.</span></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://januarygemorie.blogspot.com/2012/03/2012-spring-fashion-trends.html" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Heart shape emerald stud earring set in gold" border="0" height="221" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kNyJ307dPUs/UMp9HDZM_oI/AAAAAAAABeI/0XkGY8-B42I/s400/emerald%2Bstud%2Bearring.jpg" title="Heart shape emerald stud earring set in gold" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Here's another emerald jewelry from my collection. I just want to clarify, I only have a few ones, I'm not rich, neither my parents. Anyway, the heart shaped was given by my mom, while the cross necklace is bought by me when I receive my very first paycheck, well, not actually the first since I saved some more because its quiet expensive and my salary is just on the basic considering I am a fresh graduate.</span></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><imageanchor style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="emerald Necklace" border="0" height="306" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mkCVlg0FFcQ/UMqAsRGGoFI/AAAAAAAABe4/osMJBjNWqyg/s400/emerald%2Bnecklace.jpg" title="Emerald Necklace" width="351" /></imageanchor></div><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Well, too much about me. Lets all have a Merry Christmas and Happy New year. Cheers!</span></div><br />
