There are those days when we feel tired with our good old fashion style; wearing skirts or dresses can be impractical to some women so slacks and blazers and pumps are your go to fashion. In most cases this ensemble can be a bit boring if you wore the same type all throughout the week, or worst, your entire career life.

In most cases, almost all of us who work in a business type of environment are required to look professional and dependable. But changing your wardrobe every season can be utterly expensive and impractical, not to mention most fashion brands, be it fast fashion or designer brands releases new items every season.

Most items being released by designer brands are perfect only for the runway where model type of bodies wore the said clothes. In addition, this type of fashion trend are only affordable for celebrities, or, you can actually purchase one that will go a long way but it will make you swim with debts your entire life.

Fast fashion brands on the other hand are more affordable but you've gotta be wary since you might come across someone wearing the exact same clothes you are wearing.

Nevertheless, it is still possible to look expensive without spending all your hard earned money on designer brands or wearing clothes from fast fashion brands all the time without anyone noticing.

1. Get your clothes tailored:

With fast fashion on the rise, you can purchase dresses that looks expensive at a cheaper price, but then again, you might come across someone who wears the exact dress you are wearing, talk about awkward moment eh.

Another thing about fast fashion is that there is a universal size they follow, S M L, which most tailors cringe because every person has his or her own body type and size that would flatter or break their style.

You love that women's jumpsuit you see on fashion magazine but it's a designer brand and it's price is way above your budget? Then again, you found one in an online shop although you are not sure about whether the size would really fit you? Why not visit a textile shop? Have a list of whatever suits your taste and bring it to your good old tailor together with that magazine copy for a custom made dress perfect for your size.

2. Wear Single or Two Tone Colors:

An easy way to look expensive is to wear block colors such as an all white or an all black ensembles, add a good pair of fashion accessories or your one and only designer bag to create stunning statements.

Another option is to combine colors, black on white, red and black, blue and white. Just keep this items in check, fading one's are a no go unless you bought it that way or it was jeans.

3. Iron your Clothes:

Looking sleek and put together make you seem to radiate with luxury. Remember, crinkled clothes make you look unkempt. Make sure that your clothes, especially the one's that really needs ironing is ironed and properly kept on your wardrobe, without stains or rumpled sleeves.

4. Invest in Timeless Pieces:

Go for classic wearable pieces like the little black dress that can be worn on a casual Friday or on a more formal event. Choose a camel tone coat that can be worn during cold weathers, just remember to choose your silhouette wisely.

The current fashion trend for 2016 are bold and block colors of red's and blue's, you can add style by picking pieces with print stripes. What's great about this haul is  that it can be worn every season.

Another tip is to invest in designer bags with classic designs if you can afford it since it can go a long way and it wont go out of style not to mention that the value just increases unless you wont take good care of it.

What make's a classic outfit stunning are the accessories and statement pieces. As mentioned above, be it a designer piece or not, as long as you've chosen the best design that would go with different outfits in different events it can be paired to any clothes anytime

Jacket's or coats and a niece pair of shoes are great statement pieces that when paired with cheaper or more subdued items makes the wearer look more expensive.

Jumpsuits in block basic colors of white, black, blue and red seems to be showing up as a good option for office outfit, while those bright colored and printed ones are great options for outdoor fun.

3. Tops - Crops tops, Cut-off sleeves in Crochet, Suede, Net Style’s, Sheer type of material.

Spring’s weather is kind of still on the unpredictable stage, one moment its hot and sunny, next the cold wind is blowing. Cut-off sleeves and crop tops give the comfort you need in case the weather suddenly change.

Clothes made of suede materials are also a good option when it comes to unpredictable weather, they are thick enough to be worn during a slightly colder weather and are light and comfy for a spring stroll.

On the other hand, crochet, net and sheer styles are great buys to kick off your spring break/summer outfit.

4. Shoes – time to slowly tuck away your thigh-high boots, SLOWLY because this boots are still good options when wearing a dress or short skirts. Although, I suggest you leave the ones with block heels, or your flat-form type boots.

Start collecting sling-back sandals, flat-form shoes and sneakers for spring/summer getaways. While block heels, mid-heels, denim pumps, cutout suede sandals are great buys for a more formal setting.

5. Accessories - Handbags with embellished details like tassels, pompom, intricate beading designs, or in big bright colors are introduced by many celebrities.

Round sunglasses and suede hats also seems to be the in thing.

A friend of mine suggests that I watch the story of Gia Marie Carangi, she’s an American Supermodel during the late 1970’s to early 1980’s. She said her story (Gia Marie Carangi) is a little bit disturbing but something that one should watch. And I though hey, why the hell not!

I was expecting something like Selena’s story, but nope, is a whole different one, I can’t say it’s disturbing, more like normal, something some of us might experience, or is actually experiencing, a broken family the feeling of being left out and all those sad sorts.

Anyway, I got too hooked on her story, or maybe because Angelina Jolie played Gia, or maybe because it is something I can relate, though my family is still intact, I have a good life, there where ups and down, low times and high times but my family in always there to support me. I am not telling I have a perfect one, all in all we are one normal family. (hmm what is normal?)

Going back to Gia, from Philadelphia she move to New York where she started her career at the age of 16 or 17 and during her time she was a favorite amongst photographers, magazines and well known fashion brands, her fame is something immeasurable.

Sitting on a salon for hours makes your brain gone wild, from one gossip to another, each movement of the people around, the things they are wearing almost everything, so to keep my mind busy from meddling from their affairs and being the “maldita” I suppose I am, the best and most safest way one can do is to keep busy reading magazines, that is if there is no wi-fi available.

Anyway, browsing the magazine I already forgot the name, was it Vogue or Candy, doesn’t matter, an idea pop up my mind, well not just an idea but lost of it, fashion, jewelry, shoes, cosmetics, relationship etc, etc, and here is one of those topics that pops my head.

If only Adam Levine choose me and not those Victoria’s Secret type he wouldn’t experience this. (Oh come on, I know your raising your browse, but hell, who didn’t have hot’s for Adam Levine?)

Well going back to the topic, (have I already mentioned?), our theme for today is How to Keep your Man Want You More than You Want Him. It’s not a step by step process, just some itsy bitsy teeny weenie bits of ideas, things you already have combined with your boldness that needs just a little bit more push a prowess that all women have in their DNA.

1.A Red Luscious Lips. Surely not all women would look good on a red lipstick, but a luscious one would probably catch attention. For example, Friday Night is movie night, instead of going to a movie house prepare a meal at home, rent a DVD, and cuddle on the sofa, it might lead to something much more better and hotter.

Maybe he already reserve a ticket, of course you don’t want to waste it, so I suggest to wear your little black dress that has been hanging on your closet for months, put on a nice shade of gloss, slip on your killer stiletto and be naughty and nice by going panty less. Then tell me what happened next (wink wink).

3.Strength, Ambition, Confidence. Only Knights and Prince’s would want a girl that always act like a damsel in distress, someone who always needs attention, protection and care, practice your strength, show him your dependable, that you can take care of yourself when he is away or when he needs someone to lean on, being too clingy leads to a fucked up relationship and even knights need someone they can count on even kings need a queen whom he can trust his kingdom during war.

Have an ambition, your world should not revolved solely on him, have a life of your own, an ambition you would chase, you would work hard for because the moment you become a mother and wife, you’re full attention will be fixed on your family.

Keep in mind that when you are strong, when you are working towards your dream, all will lead to confident, witty and attractive women that only losers would shy away.

At the end of the day, it’s just a give and take type of journey, you need him more than he needs you and he needs you more than you could ever know. 4. Get enough rest

Are you too busy to rest? Then you might just have guessed why your hair is not as bouncy. Lack of sleep can cause the body to skip its natural process of repairing and healing itself from daily wear and tear. Allow your body to recharge from time to time to get the most out of it.

It may seem like getting to know your hair is a no-brainer but spending a considerable amount of time in the task would help you create a more comprehensive profile. They are only 4 of the prominent individuals who have suffered (or somehow benefited) from the cruel hands of our technology today. Popular is not much of the “in” thing today, it’s more or less getting viral that counts.

As for Kate’s royal mishap, she’s not the only one - which makes it less of a fuss, if you ask me. We can just probably think of it as a right of passage into the world of the rich and famous. Let’s leave the matter to their army of lawyers. In the meantime, we can all savor the moment (photos) while they last.

I always thought that men and women had their own ways. I just didn’t realize early on that they were so different in every possible way.

Sure, we have tons of biological, intellectual and developmental differences among many others but it never occurred to me that men and women are still complete opposites when it comes to shoes.

From time to time, it’s good to remember how different men and women are just to keep things in perspective. These differences usually highlight our different needs and desires which allow us to be more sensitive of our current environment. Though the line which separates men from women is gradually blurring out, I think where we used to be should never be forgotten. Looking back at where we came from doesn’t only show us where we are headed but it also gives us a sense of pride for what has been accomplished as well as a heart that’s thankful in every way for that journey that has been.

Beautiful, talented and cheating on dating one of the hottest actors of today’s generation, Kristen Stewart has been known for more than just the lead actress of the famous movie series The Twilight Saga. After starring in Snow White and the Huntsmen movie, Stewart stabilized her position as one of the most idolized, looked-up to actresses in the world.

While she holds a grand position in Hollywood, unfortunately for Ms. Stewart, she hasn’t always been part of the “best dressed” list of celebrities. In fact, because of her casual, rock-glam style and simplicity, Stewart has made some pretty bad choices on the red carpet – at least, until recently.

Nowadays, Stewart has recently been making positive impressions on the fashion police, with her simple, outfits and non-all black dresses that actually complement her non-expressive, but definitely pretty face.

With all her pretty outfits these days, I’m sure you’d like to discuss which ones I’m talking about.

For instance, during the MTV Movie Awards, Stewart wore a color-block dress that looked elegant on her figure. The only accessory she wore, however, was a suspicious (engagement?) looking ring. While this ring was only so elegantly colored, it was definitely simple enough to catch the attention of the press. I think this ring would make a really good accessory for just about any color-block dresses.

On the other hand, while promoting Snow White and the Huntsmen and before the photos of Stewart cheating on Robert Pattinson were released into the world, she was seen out and about with the Director Rupert Sands (whom she cheated with) and the rest of the cast. During this premiere, she wore an elegant suit, accessorizing it with a really cute, designer fashion jewelry on her finger. While her dark, beautiful eyes made wonders with her suit, I thought the accessory would’ve worked better on a dress with lighter colors instead.

For many years, Kristen Stewart has definitely worn some really bad choices. Fortunately for her, now that her fashion score has gone up, her fans have many more to look for in the future, well considering she has fans after her cheating on Robert Pattinson blows over.

It’s been raining really hard this morning and the sun didn’t shine that much since last week. It would be great if we could just stay home, sit beside your special someone, watch a movie, maybe cuddle in bed and have some hot soup or a cup of your favorite chocolate drink. But then, all of us need to get up, take a bath and get our ass off to work.

It’s still raining, the raindrops outside and the air conditioner inside are making the cars wind shied foggy. The traffic is killing all my patience with all those horns I can hear on all directions. Everybody is rushing to finally get to where they are going. And yet, despite the loud horns, you’ll still hear footsteps, big and small, fast, passing thru the side of the car. Indeed they are rushing.

The green light signals me to move forward finally reaching the intersection, turn left, and then straight ahead, once you see that tall building surrounded with gold glass go straight to the basement and look for a space to park your car.

Inside the elevator going to the thirty second floor, people look dashing with their own style, some wear simple jeans and shirts, some wear skirts, most wear the usual black garb. Thank goodness we are not required to dress to kill, simplicity is still the best.

Since its raining, more ladies opted to wear skirt, that summer colored and feminine cut ones that are soft and flowing. But I guess I’m different from the rest, I wore my usual dark denim jeans, paired with a four inch navy blue open toe high heels and a blue silk blouse, on my wrist is my favorite wrist watch that my mom gave, two pair of earrings on my ear, a coral pink lipstick, bronze blush was on my cheeks and a natural colored eye shadow for my eyes.

Walking out of the elevator slowly, greeting each and every person “Good morning” I saw one of my subordinate, with a wide smile reaching out a hand with a cup of coffee.

As I reached my table I saw my folders filled up over the weekend, it is as if they mate at night and give birth to new ones at dawn, and in the morning before I reached my work station, they would be there, sitting quietly, waiting for me to finish them up until the end of the shift.

I sat on my chair, give those nasty folders a glimpse, open my laptop, check my emails and again, just like another Monday, I was consumed with my own world where different web design and computer programs occupy most of my eight hour shift has come.

It is indeed a Rainy Monday Morning.
